The Top Four Dog Friendly Vacation Spotsl

As the days continue to heat up and summer rolls on, we find ourselves in the midst of vacation seasons! Many pet owners may already have vacations planned, but others might still be looking for the perfect getaway this summer.

Leaving our pets behind can be hard and for some pet owners it just isn’t an option. For these pet moms and dads, they may be wondering just where they can go that their furry friends can come along with them. As a result, I have compiled a list of my top four dog friendly vacation spots for pet owners and their pups to check out this summer and for the years to come!

1. Lake Tahoe-California and Nevada.

Lake Tahoe is an adventurer’s dream vacation. Situated in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, there are plenty of activities for an active dog owner and his pooch to find to spend their days.

For those dogs who like to go for a swim, there are a handful of dog friendly beaches at Lake Tahoe. Some of the more popular ones are Kiva Beach, Zephyr Cove Beach, Patton Beach, and Coon Street Beach.

Another great option for water loving dogs is to go on a self-guided river raft tour down the Truckee River. There’s actually a company called Truckee River Raft Rentals that counts dogs as passengers. How cool is that? Can you imagine the excitement on your pup’s face?

In addition to swimming and boating, Lake Tahoe has tons of hiking trails for pets and their owners. There’s no better and simpler way to spend the day with Fido than to go on a good old fashioned walk.

Lake Tahoe also has plenty of dog friendly accommodations for you and your pet, so spending the night should be a breeze.

When doing my research on accommodations in Lake Tahoe, I found I was a fan of those places that had a more cabin like feel, but there were tons of options from hotels and motels to bed and breakfasts. Check out the 3 Peaks Resort and Beach Club and the Fireside Lodge Bed and Breakfast, which were my favorites.

You can also check out Bring Fido for more pet friendly lodging options.

2. Finger Lakes-New York.

The Finger Lakes are a beautiful cluster of 11 lakes in upstate New York. Before I had looked into dog friendly vacations, I had never heard of the Finger Lakes, but I wish I had!

Finger Lakes is an immensely dog friendly area with marinas, wineries, breweries, and restaurants that all love to have your playful pooch stop by.

The Watkins Glen State Park also permits your leashed pet to explore its scenery and waterfalls with you! Much like Lake Tahoe, the Finger Lakes allows adventurous pups and their owners to spend the day hiking and exploring the trails.

Dogs and their owners can also find an abundance of dog friendly camp sites at the Finger Lakes if camping is more your style.

Lastly, check out Sampson State Park. It’s full of hiking trails for you and your dogs. Boating and sports activities are also big there. Best of all water loving pups are permitted to swim at the park! There’s a little bit of everything for you and your pup at Finger Lakes.

3. Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Rehoboth Beach is a great vacation spot on the east coast for pet owners and their dogs. The great thing about Rehoboth is that dogs are permitted on all unguarded beaches!

You are also permitted to take your dog to “Cinema by the Surf,” a free movie event that is shown at the Rehoboth Beach Bystand. What a great way to bond with your family and Fido!

There are also an abundance of dog friendly restaurants you can check out at Rehoboth on BringFido.com!

If you and your family are more of the lazy beach goers than the adventurous pups who might want to check out Lake Tahoe and Finger Lakes, Rehoboth Beach might be the place for you to vacation this summer.

4. The Outer Banks-North Carolina.

The Outer Banks is another great spot for beach lovers and their dogs! Full of dog friendly accommodations, bringing your pet along to OBX should be super easy for you and your family this summer.

The Outer Banks is made up of a series of islands and beaches, most of which are dog friendly. For instance, Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, and Kitty Hawk all allow leashed dogs from the early evening to early morning hours.

Hatteras and Ocracoke Islands both allow dogs year round at any time of the day as long as they are leashed.

Another great option for pet owners is take their dogs to the soundside of the Outer Banks. Here, dog moms and dads will find plenty of beaches for dogs to play and run in. The great thing about the soundside is that it is less restrictive than the beachside for those dogs who like to explore as it is less crowded. The soundside is also a great options for dogs who are afraid of the rough surf of the ocean.

Much like Lake Tahoe and the Finger Lakes, the Outer Banks also has an assortment of hiking trails for visitors to explore, with most state parks allowing our furry friends to come and get some exercise on the trails with us.

If you take a drive down to Kitty Hawk, you can also go and visit John’s Drive In where you can get an ice cream “puppy cup” for your fur-ever friend!

No matter how you chose to spend your days at the Outer Banks, you and your pooch are sure to kick back, relax, and enjoy the sun.

In addition to my top four spots, there is quite an assortment of other awesome paw-some places for you and your pet to go on vacation this summer. Some of my other favorites were the Grand Canon, Key West, and San Francisco.

All of these places were great for you and your pup because they permitted Fido to partake in a good bit of the activities that you normally enjoy with just your family.

However you decide to spend your vacation this summer and wherever you decide to go I hope that you get to spend it along side your best friend and I hope it’s the trip of a life time!

I believe what you wrote made a bunch of sense.
However, think on this, what if you were to create a killer headline?
I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your blog, however
what if you added something to maybe grab people’s attention? I mean The Top Four Dog Friendly
Vacation Spotsl — The Darling Dog Mom is a little vanilla.
You ought to peek at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create news titles
to grab people to open the links. You might add a related video or a picture or two to get people excited about
everything’ve got to say. Just my opinion,
it could bring your blog a little bit more interesting. http://www.ustinova.ru/bitrix/rk.php?goto=http://www.mbet88vn.com
